Refund & Cancellation

How trials, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work. We aim to be transparent and to make cancellation painless.
Magic PTT is currently free while in active development. The terms below apply to paid plans once they are introduced and to any subscription you start. Where these terms reference billing, they operate through our payment processor's secure billing portal.
Free trial
If we offer a free trial, no payment method is required to start, and you have access to the features included in the plan you choose during the trial. At the end of the trial:
- If you have added a payment method and selected a plan, your subscription begins automatically and you are charged the plan's price.
- If you have not subscribed, the account reverts to the free tier (or limited access). Your data remains intact, and you can subscribe at any time to restore full functionality.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, which open a secure billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access through the date you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months unless required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review promptly.
Annual subscriptions
If annual subscriptions are offered in your plan, you may cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase or annual renewal for a full refund. After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can still cancel auto-renewal and retain access through the end of the paid period.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor will retry the charge over the following days and we will email the account holder. If payment cannot be collected, the account is downgraded to limited access until billing is resolved. After 30 days of unresolved failure, the subscription may be closed and data treated under the “Data after cancellation” rules below.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period; we do not refund the difference for partial periods.
Data after cancellation
After cancellation, your account data remains accessible for a 30-day window so you can export what you need. After 30 days, primary records are deleted; backups created by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule and are not user-accessible. Live call audio is not durably stored at any point.
Disputes and chargebacks
Please reach out via the contact page before filing a chargeback — we typically resolve billing issues within 5 business days. Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension while the dispute is reviewed by the payment processor.
Development period
While Magic PTT is in active development, we may offer additional credits or accommodations not described above. If you experience a service disruption that affects your ability to use the Service, contact support@magicticket.help — we want to make it right.
