Magic G393

Our own LTE handheld · Magic PTT + Magic PTT SL

A pocket LTE radio that runs Magic PTT out of the box and carries Magic PTT SL beside it. No touchscreen: everything runs from the keys, so it works with gloves on. Only the G393 has the LCD face, a screen drawn pixel for pixel on its own glass, and Replay: switch it on once by holding the green key for 2 seconds, then miss a call and a press of the green key plays back the last thing you heard, from the radio's memory, with nothing saved and nothing sent anywhere. The side PTT talks in both apps, and one key moves you between them. Tested in the US on our own data SIM.

A renewed Sonim XP8 set up as a dedicated Magic PTT radio. Magic PTT SL is a tap away in radio tools, and the red key, held, opens it with NEED HELP already marked. Two talk keys: the big side key with the screen on, and the yellow key from a pocket with the screen dark. The red key is your camera and, held, your call for help. Magic PTT keeps both keys through every update, so they never quietly go back to the phone's own camera and dialler.

UHF radio + LTE handheld · Magic Micro

Two radios in one hand. The top key is a real UHF radio, 400 to 480 MHz, straight out of the antenna with no network at all; the bottom key is Magic PTT, anywhere you have a signal. Magic PTT runs the UHF side itself: turn the knob and the channel name comes up on screen, and if you are talking on the network when you key the UHF side, the network lets go. Channels are programmed from Channel Deck in Magic PTT Desktop. Magic PTT SL is one key away.

Ships as a standalone phone with Magic PTT and Magic PTT SL side by side (locked Micro kiosk on request), with the same Magic Micro / full console members know from the web. The side key talks in both apps. Setup switches off the factory Smart Key page a long press would open; a factory reset brings it back.

Drivers we wrote — buttons that key Magic PTT

Each brand keeps its own pipe. We never “merge” Inrico fixes into BTech or force iPhone to match Android when the firmware disagrees.

Wireless speaker-mic. We wrote the BLE button driver — press on the mic, Magic PTT keys. iPhone and Android; Profile toggle for the button.

BTech BS-50

BTech BS-50

LCD sibling of the BS-22. PTT and audio work on the proven pipe. On Android the mic's screen shows your room and who is talking, and the top rocker steps through your channels; on Windows Desktop the screen shows the room and the talker too. On iPhone the screen and rocker are not used. The six front buttons do nothing in Magic PTT on any platform and can never key you up.

TidRadio Q2L / tidmic

TidRadio Q2L / tidmic

Android field-proven since APK 1.0.64 (scan-attach + multi-pipe). iPhone never proved reliable; the Q2L is shelved.

Raspberry Pi Magic PTT kiosk

Now: Debian 13 amd64 kiosk. Next: arm64 Desktop package on Pi hardware. Later: optional Etcher image for pop-in SD cards. We will not pretend an SD image exists today.
