Tours
15:21Magic PTT, front to back: the full tour
Everything in Magic PTT in one video: push to talk from a phone, a computer or a real radio, the Stage and its looks, rooms, chat and the Magic Book, live captions, the Magic Grid, radios and Bluetooth mics, AllStarLink and digital bridges, Desktop, Magic PTT SL and Magic Mesh.
5:19Magic PTT on iPhone: the push-to-talk app the iPhone never had (full tour)
The full tour of Magic PTT on iPhone: the Action Button, Bluetooth speaker-mics, rooms and Your Base, chat with live captions, the Magic Grid, the Magic Book and Magic Mesh off-grid text.
4:40Meet Maggie: your first five minutes on Magic PTT
The tour every new member gets at first sign-in. Maggie, our AI host, walks through the radio, rooms, the Stage and its cards, and the Magic Book in under five minutes.
Magic Mesh
0:44Is there a mesh where you live? Be the first
One Magic Mesh radio at home on Wi-Fi puts your area on the map and ties it to every other Magic Mesh place. Your neighbours text it with no cell service on MeshCore or Meshtastic.
0:38A private text to a radio two states away
Tap a member's radio on the Magic Mesh world map and message it privately. It crosses Magic Mesh Global, and their home radio sends it over the air to that one handheld and no other.
0:44Got a Heltec V4 in a drawer? Put Magic Mesh on it
Put Magic Mesh, our own firmware, on a Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V4 you already own: MeshCore and Meshtastic from one board, flashed over USB in Magic PTT Desktop.
0:40A radio tower on your desk
The Magic Mesh Desk Tower: a red and white tower about ten inches tall, the antenna on top and the radio in the shack at its foot, with a battery that keeps it on the air when the power goes out.
0:51This bird house is a radio station
The Magic Mesh Lookout goes up a tree, a pole or a tower on one network cable. It repeats for MeshCore and Meshtastic and is your Magic Mesh Global gateway, with a bird-house front if you want one.
0:41MeshCore or Meshtastic? Both, from one radio
Magic Mesh is our own firmware: one radio talks MeshCore and Meshtastic at the same time, and every message lands in one inbox in Magic PTT.
0:53One message, one radio, 1,200 miles: Magic Mesh private messages
From upstate New York to one handheld in the Mississippi swamp: a Magic Mesh private message rides Magic Mesh Global across the country, then goes over the air to that one radio.
0:57Meet the Pebble: off-grid texting with our own Magic Mesh firmware
The Pebble, a Magic Mesh handheld that sends texts with no cell service and no internet, on MeshCore and Meshtastic at the same time. Scan the code on its screen and its own page opens on your phone.
MeshCore and Meshtastic are their own projects. Magic Mesh is not made or endorsed by either.

0:36Drop it over the side. It floats.
The Buoy is a waterproof push-to-talk radio that floats, in yellow or black, for the boat, the dock and the beach.

Every Magic PTT radio comes set up, tested and ready to talk, with the first year of membership included.
Magic PTT
0:46What is Magic PTT and Magic Mesh? Radio for everyone
Radio for everyone: Magic PTT is push to talk from a phone, a computer or a radio, and Magic Mesh adds texts that travel with no cell service and no internet.
0:42Your phone just became a radio
Magic PTT turns your phone, your computer or a real handheld into a push-to-talk radio heard across the country, with live captions and a built-in Help center.
0:58Every word, on screen: live captions in Magic PTT
Every transmission on a Magic PTT net is written out live, and can be read in 25 languages. Deaf or hard of hearing? Follow the net by reading it.
0:20Ask the radio: meet Sparks and Maggie, the AI hosts in Magic PTT
Two AI radio hosts live in Magic PTT: Sparks runs the help desk in The Bot Bunker and Maggie hosts The Spark Plug. Both answer only when you say their name.
1:57Sound right on every net: Mic check and Parrot mode in Magic PTT
Mic check on the Magic PTT Desktop Stage shows your level against a target band, and Parrot mode plays six seconds back so you hear what the net hears.
0:36Classic or More Extreme? Pick your Magic PTT Stage look
Classic puts the radio center stage with your cards around it; More Extreme turns the same Stage into a command deck. Switch any time.
0:32Stuck? The Magic PTT Help center is built right in
The Magic PTT Help center is built in: search any topic, or start with Magic PTT for Dummies, from what PTT means to your first time on the air.
